Do you have tight hips? If you answered yes, I have to tell you Hip Openers, it’s one of the most common complaints I hear. I think it’s safe to say, 8 people out of 10 constantly feel like their hips are tight?
You know what’s to blame?
The sitting lifestyle!
After long periods of sitting your hip flexor muscles (the muscles that allow you to lift your knees towards your chest) can become tight and shorten can lead to limited range of motion in your hips, making it difficult to perform certain movements such as lunges or squats. Tight hips can also cause back pain and poor posture, as your body compensates for the limited mobility.
To prevent tight hips, stand up and move around, practice hip stretches, and stay active. Regular exercise that involves hip movement will keep your hip muscles healthy and mobile.
