I know you’ve been living with Sciatica for a while. You feel the shooting pain down in your hip and leg, maybe even across your lower back. You have a hard time getting out of bed, after a not so great night of sleep. You dread long car rides, days of traveling, tennis and walking seem like a distant memory.
Your doctor sent you the physical therapy but you didn’t improve much, so now you’re being referred to a pain management specialist. You’re going in for a steroid shot, but the little voice in your head tells you, that can’t be the solution. And you’re right. It’s not. Steroids are not good for you. They weaken and damage your connective tissue, therefore you shouldn’t rely on them. Plus, they won’t fix the underlying cause, they just temporarily give you pain relief.
I wanted to share some images with you of a client who’s been suffering from Sciatica. About 6 weeks ago she could barely walk, stand, sit, she was in a lot of pain. In just 6 weeks I could not be happier with her improvement! When she walks in for her appointment, she stands straight, and she’s rushing in the door. The slow, shuffling walk is part of the past. Movement is becoming much easier. She’s feeling stronger, having much-much less pain and she’s learning stretches and movements that give her relief when she feels stiff or when her legs cramp.
I’m sharing these images because I want to give you hope that you can in fact heal from Sciatica or any other pain condition. Obviously, results vary from person to person but you will improve and feel better, I can guarantee that!
