On a recent camping/hiking trip I met a lady who said her ankles were weak and in order to prevent them from spraining, she wore some extremely restrictive and clunky boots. They reminded me of safety boots, just absolutely lacking any flexibility and mobility.
I can’t imagine how uncomfortable those boots must be, especially when there’s a much better solution to strengthen those weak ankles!
